Hills have Eyes

With text at the start of the film opening it give the viewer background information where the film is set and what they may expect to see or hear about though out the film

I love how they have added articles and newspaper clipping in the opening, which again gives information to the viewer and added to the affect being portrayed. 
The speed in which the opening of the film goes adds to the disturbing features involved in the opening sequence.

the mid shot of a man with an axe and with a substance which looks like blood give the viewer the impression that the film could be classed as a triller\ horror.

The close up of a disformed human which is going at a fast speed add to the affect trying to be given which therefore adds to the over all theme of the film .
